“ In the end these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you love? How deeply did you learn to let go? – Buddha

1. Hide and Seek. UV rays are strongest and most harmful during midday, so plan indoor activities during that time. If this is not possible, seek shade under a tree, an umbrella or tent.

2. Cover Up. Clothing that covers your child’s skin helps protect against UV rays.

3. Get a Hat. Hats that shade the face, scalp, ears, and neck are easy to use and give great protection.

4. Shades Are Cool. And they protect your child’s eyes from UV rays, which can lead to cataracts later in life.

5. Use Sunscreen cautiously. Some studies suggest that sunscreen may actually contribute to cancer as well as vitamin D deficiency.

The best advice? Limit sun exposure and cover up!

“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned,” - Buddha
